That's why these bags have the very best. The fear of a wet bag keeps some people from buying a down bag. This is a mistake. Any wet bag is miserable to sleep in. Keeping your gear dry is not so hard! This is a simple skill you probably learned in elementary school while waiting for your school bus. Tents, bivies, and proper camp placement can all help you keep your bag dry. Shell fabrics are treated with a surface Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. This is more than sufficient to shrug off dew and condensation. DWRs can also be easily reapplied as time wears it thin.
The shells are made from all new lightweight fabrics that weigh as little as .85 ounces per square yard. By the very nature of these fabrics, total and unrestricted lofting of the down fill is possible.
A stuff sack and storage sack are included. Western Mountaineering has been hand-crafting sleeping bags for over 20 years. All sleeping bags are guaranteed against manufacturer's defects for an unlimited time.

MontBell sleeping bags feature the patented Spiral Stretch System

MontBell has incorporated a classic tailor’s technique to address sleeping bag comfort issues. By integrating a woven fabric “cut on the bias” and orienting the fabric’s warp and weft threads at 45 degrees to major seam lines the sleeping bag becomes more fluid or elastic in nature. Additionally, “spring like” crimped fibers are used in the weave of the fabric to capitalize on their inherent stretch properties. The result is a flexible sleeping bag that makes “tent life” more enjoyable by keeping body heat inside your sleeping bag, where it belongs.
 
MontBell’s world patented Super Stretch System uses horizontal elastic stitching to draw insulation closer to your body.  This system prevents drafts, limits cold spots, and improves the bag’s efficiency by reducing the amount of dead space your body needs to heat.

Loft is optimized as the sleeping bag conforms to your every movement, giving more thermal efficiency than competitors.  You’ll enjoy freedom of movement like never before with the Super Stretch System.  The durable elastic stitching gently stretches with you as you move.  You stay toasty warm as you change positions.

The Ballistic Airlight 12-denier fabric is ultra thin and light and still gives you great tear resistance.  An elite water-repellent technology, Polkatex DWR protects insulation from light moisture and helps maintain warmth.  Even after 100 washings Polkatex will retain 90% of its water repellency.

A hood maintains the warmth around your head.  You can adjust the fit around your neck with a drawstring.  A draft tube prevents warm air loss through the zipper.  A locking system limits zipper “slip” during the night.  The down bags use a multi-tube construction and the synthetic Exceloft bags use shingle construction. 

The U.L. Super Spiral Down Hugger and the Super Spiral Burrow bags come with left or right zipper and are mateable.   The U.L. Spiral Down Huggers come with a right zip only.  Most right-handed people prefer a left zip because it is easier to reach across your body to zip and unzip as you are lying on your back.

MontBell’s down bags use high quality 800 fill power down to give you the most warmth for the least weight.  The Super Spiral Burrow Bags use Exceloft to achieve the warmest polyester insulation.  Exceloft is as warm as down and dries far faster, making it simple to maintain and ideally suited to wetter climates. The Burrow Bags use super 40-denier multi-filament nylon for durability. 
 
A tapered stuff sack with bias cut facilitates easier packing.  There are loops at the bottom of each bag if you would rather hang your bag to store it instead of using the cotton storage sack.
