Six Moon Designs StarliteDesigned for the long distance ultralight hiker, the Starlite has many features that make it feel perfect whether you're a long distance hiker or weekender looking to lighten your load. The unique suspension system of this incredibly light 25 ounce frameless pack, allows you to comfortably carry loads up to 35 pounds. Should you wish to carry additional weight or prefer the added rigidity of an internal frame, simply slip in the two (optional) 24" stays to create an internal frame pack. The new Starlite model better incorporates the pad pocket into the body of the pack, while still maintaining rear access to your pad. This change brings the pack side pockets closer to your back for easier access. And it allows the Starlite to support for a wider range of torso sizes. Six Moon Designs Traveler BackpackThe Traveler's panel loading entry gives you easy access to all your gear. A zippered top pocket provides handy storage and weather protection. A zippered mesh front pocket is great for storing clothing and other gear you want to keep handy.Three additional exterior mesh pockets provide quick access to water, map, snacks, camera, and other gear. The heavy duty mesh used on the Traveler will withstand the punishment of bushwhacking off trail and the toughest baggage handlers. The Traveler pack is sized to easily fit into overhead compartments on planes, yet is large enough to hold a bear canister if needed. The Traveler is available with a choice of hip belt sizes and styles. Each belt is padded with a stiff 3/8 in thick foam core. The hip belts are available both with and without pockets. The sizing of hip belt is dependent upon in the length of padding used in each belt. In addition to the padding, each belt has 30 inches of 1.5" webbing. This allows the belt considerable latitude for waist sizes. Which belt is right for you depends upon how much padding you wish. The table below lists the various sizes of hip belts available and their recommended waist sizes. Hip Belt Pockets Each of the two hip belt pockets measures 3.5" X 6" X 2" and holds 42 cubic inches of easily accessible gear. Together they add an additional 80-plus cubic inches of storage to your pack. They are sized to be large enough to carry a small digital camera, GPS, snacks, sun screen or other items that need quick access.
2) Multiple Shoulder Strap Lengths The Traveler is available with a choice of shoulder strap lengths. The standard length is 18" and is s suitable for most people. A shorter 15" set of shoulder straps are available for short torso people. 3) Optional Stays Sometimes it's nice to have a little additional support, especially when using an inflatable pad as your primary support. The Traveler allows the use of two removable 24" aluminum stays. These provide additional load transfer for heavier loads. They are easily inserted or removed from the pack. Six Moon Designs Swift ’10 BackpackThe Swift '10 Pack has been completely reworked from the ground up for 2010.Our "True Suspension" system has been integrated into the pack with a new internal pad pocket. This pocket will allow the pack to comfortably carry in excess of 30 pounds. The new Swift '10 is constructed from new tough Dyneema Diamond fabric. This fabric has a secondary diamond weave of heavier thread to provided additional strength. Dual integrated 50 cubic inch (.8 liter) hip belt pockets provide more than ample storage for cameras, GPS, snacks, sun screen and other quickly needed supplies. New for the '10 model, the pockets are made from Dyneema Diamond fabric. Swift '10 incorporates our "No-Sweat" back panel. This panel is made from Dryglide (tm) fabric. This fabric is engineered to wick away moisture and eliminate hot spots. This significantly reduces the clammy feel associated with most frameless packs. Three large mesh pockets combined with the two hip belt pockets give you lots of quick-access storage. With its interior stash pocket and integrated hip belt pockets, the Swift provides you with features you'd pay more for with other packs…all at a lower cost.
